Why is my Auto insurance not compliant?

Updated: 08/16/2023

Top reason for Auto Insurance being marked as non-compliant:
  1. Service Pro does not have required coverage
    1. If Service Pro OWNS company vehicles (Company Information), they must have coverage for Owned OR Scheduled Autos AND for both Hired AND Non-Owned Vehicles. If "Any Auto" is marked on the Certificate of Insurance, this meets the requirement as well. Coverage for Hired and Non-Owned vehicles is required regardless of whether the Contractor owns vehicles or not.
    2. If Service Pro does NOT OWN company vehicles (Company Information), they must have coverage for Hired AND Non-Owned Vehicles. If "Any Auto" is marked on the Certificate of Insurance, this meets the requirement as well. Coverage for Hired and Non-Owned vehicles is required regardless of whether the Contractor owns vehicles or not
Things to Consider:
  1. Is my answer to the question, "Do you own Company Vehicles?" accurate? - See Company Information.
  2. If I own company vehicles, does my Certificate of Insurance have one of the following options selected?
    1. Any Autos; OR
    2. Owned Autos AND Hired Autos AND Non-Owned Autos; OR
    3. Scheduled Autos AND Hired Autos AND Non-Owned Autos.
  3. If I do NOT own company vehicles AND I have a Commercial Auto Liability policy, does my Certificate of Insurance have one of the following options selected?
    1. Any Autos; OR
    2. Hired Autos AND Non-Owned Autos
  4. If I do NOT own company vehicles AND I do NOT have a Commercial Auto Liability policy, does my General Liability include an endorsement for Hired and Non-Owned Autos? Some examples of endorsement verbiage include: Hired and Non-Owned, HNOA, ENOL, and UNOC.
